NATURA deals with the unfamiliarity of time and space. It establishes connections between people and plants, while also fostering constant encounters with diverse environments. NATURA explores a movement language inspired by plants that scan their surroundings with 20 senses. It transforms the performer’s body into a nonhuman form—at once familiar and unfamiliar, evoking many beings yet belonging to none. This nonhuman body and sound invite the audience to witness, within a single body on stage, the cycles of evolution, resilience, adaptation, transformation, survival, death, and rebirth, as well as rest, life, breath, the sun and the moon, and the generous systems of nature.
