Laura Manz is a munich born and based dance-creating chameleon. Ever since she graduated from Iwanson International, Laura danced and performed for different theaters and choreographers like Ceren Oran, Constantin Georgescu, Caroline Finn or Matteo Carvone, amongs others.
Laura performs internationally, in theaters as well as public spaces and facilitates workshops for professionals & non-professionals. Her researches deal with artistic issues and the body in motion.She circles around themes that question the way human beings interact with nature, with other living beings as well as with themselves, sensory perceptions and, environmental influences on the human body. Laura values exchange and research with others and is always interested on new issues and collaborations.
In Munich’s independent scene she campaigns for exchange and networking, with conceptual and curatorial support for TanzQuelle and Bad Lemons Project. Recently Laura has also taken over artistic productions and dramaturgical support for Jin Lee and Emese Nagy.
