NATURA/본성 emerges from ZINADA’s experience of migration, born within the unfamiliarity of time and space. It explores the connection between humans and plants and questions how the body transforms, adapts, and builds resilience to survive in diverse conditions. The performer profoundly embodies and reinterprets plant bodies that perceive the environment through twenty senses. This transforms the performer’s body into a nonhuman form, at once familiar and unfamiliar, evoking many beings yet belonging to none. This body reveals the cycle of evolution and resilience, adaptation and transformation, survival and death, and the rebirth of regeneration. Furthermore, NATURA/본성 invites the audience into the breath of nature - a moment to witness the order of life where everything flows and intertwines.
